A. Smith Clothiers was founded by Arthur Smith in 2014 to create a truly one-of-a-kind shopping experience for the Upstate. We use the finest European fabrics and exacting techniques in our made-to-measure and custom-tailored apparel for men, offering a level of cosmopolitan luxury that simply isn’t available anywhere else in the region.
We specialize in helping men achieve a new level of sophistication in dress for events, nights out on the town, and weddings. We have assisted hundreds of grooms and groomsmen in making their special day the best-dressed day of their lives.
In November 2018 we moved from our previous location in Easley, S.C., to our current location in the Historic Downtown Central Business District of Greenville, S.C. Our storefront at 233 N. Main St., Suite 4, is directly across from the Hyatt Hotel.
When you enter our showroom, you’ll be greeted with the refined touches befitting an upscale experience: beautiful decor and oil paintings, extremely comfortable seating, great background music, lovely scents, and modern audiovisuals for our customers’ enjoyment. Our expert staff will give you personalized attention as we meet your style needs.
We have our own high-end on-site tailoring and alterations operation with modern appliances, a sewing room with industrial sewing machines and a spacious restroom facility. A. Smith Clothiers has greatly invested in the comfort of our accommodations for the sake of our customers.
